The Connecting Government blog is operated by Granicus. It covers the latest tools, tips, and strategies that are proven to help government agencies establish stronger connections with their citizens and their community through innovative technology.
Our bloggers have “in the trenches” experience observing the challenges governments face trying to be more transparent, efficient, and participatory with the public. We want to help you solve these problems. At the very least, we want to give you some ideas and open your mind to new ways to achieve government transparency, citizen participation, and workflow efficiency.
Who are we?
We’re members of the Granicus crew – business leaders, government professionals, product developers, marketers, and idea evangelists. We have a passion for technology and a deep understanding of how it can work effectively to achieve a better government – “of the people, by the people, for the people” as Abraham Lincoln would say.
Why blog?
We wanted to connect with our current government clients, future clients, and everyone interested in Gov 2.0 and how innovative technology can help connect government and the people. This blog helps Granicus establish a human face and voice – we want to be as transparent as possible with our goals and aspirations as a technology company.
